Cake Board trim - Make a simple cardboard into an elegant tray!
This white trim is the quick easy and inexpensive way to hide unsightly corrugated cardboard edges. The molded vinyl strip simply slips over the edge and grips it securely. Just cut to fit the desired size of cardboard.

MASONITE BOARDS GIVE GOOD SUPPORT TO YOUR CAKES!
1/4" thick wooden boards are brown and need to be covered, both sides. This will make them grease and water resistant. I use plain white Contact Paper, then I write: "PROPERTY OF SUGARCRAFT' so people know I want to have them returned. I also add '$20.00 IF KEPT'... decide your own value...this persuades them to be returned.

Large cakes placed on masonite boards don't give in the middle. If placed on flimsy cardboard, the icing can wrinkle, cake can split, or worse... a wedding cake can fall because by the cardboard bending.

NOTE THAT FOR THE VERY LARGE CAKES, I ALWAYS DELIVERED THEM AFTER SLIDING A PLYWOOD BOARD UNDERNEATH - FOR ADDED SUPPORT.
